LITTLETON, NH -- Richard (Bugz) James Lemire, 59, passed peacefully on February 4, 2014 at the Lafayette Center in Franconia, N.H. after a long courageous battle. He was accompanied by his daughter, Megan Lemire and close family friend, Whitney Jewett.
He was born on October 25, 1954 in Littleton to Anthony P. and June W. (Gearwar) Lemire. Richard graduated from Littleton High School in 1972. Richard, a Master Electrician, worked for his father until he started his own electrical contracting business.
Richard loved spending time with his daughter, Megan. He took pride in his immaculate electrical work as well as his woodworking. He loved cars. In his early life, he spent time building model cars until later when his passion became working on and taking care of his own, including his favorite, a black 1971 Camaro. Richard loved music (his favorite band was The Beatles) and listening to and traveling with his friends' bands. He enjoyed working as a DJ and bartender at Jeremiah's back in the seventies and 'riding around' in his cars with his friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Megan Lemire; his mother, June Lemire; a sister, Peggy (husband Glen) Little, a brother, Ronald Lemire, friend and former wife, Tina Lemire; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, including his cousin and best friend, Craig Trombley.
SERVICES -- All are welcome to attend a Celebration of Richard's Life on Saturday, February 15th from 1:00 â 4:00 at the Howard Shawney VFW Hall, Post 816, 600 Cottage Street, Littleton, NH.
