Richard R. Pelchat, 60, of 195 Eastern Avenue, died August 31, 2000, at the Elliot Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Berlin, on August 6, 1940, the son of Bernadette (Chabot) Pelchat and the late Sylvio Pelchat and had been a resident of this area for most of his life. Richard worked for various plumbing companies and he loved hunting and fishing. Family members include his wife of 11 years Eileen (Daigle) Pelchat of Manchester, four sons, Richard A. Pelchat of Goffstown, Michael A. Pelchat of Manchester, Daniel E. Pelchat of Rochester and David R. Pelchat of Laconia, a step daughter Jessica Spooner of Laconia, two granddaughters, his mother of Goffstown, two sisters Mrs. William (Rosama) MacArthur of Florida and Mrs. Arthur (Lucille) Hebert of Goffstown, several nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no calling hours and burial will be at the convenience of the family. The Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street is in charge of arrangements.
