Richard F. Pelletier, 74, passed away at his home on January 13, 2019. Born in Manchester on July 16, 1944, he was son of the late Irving and Evelyn (Ameen) Pelletier.
Richard was a graduate of Bishop Bradley High School. He worked for many years at The Rumford Press. He was also the proud owner of the Hooksett Pizza King restaurant for several years. Later in life, he worked as a truck driver.
Richard was an avid ballroom dancer and enjoyed playing cards. He always looked forward to his annual, and sometimes semi-annual, trips to the Villa Roma Resort in the Catskills, where he spent many cherished vacations with loved ones.
Richard leaves behind his son, Jeffrey Pelletier and his partner Christine Robinson; his daughter, Gayle Greenlaw and her husband Christopher; his brothers, William and Steven Pelletier; his sister, Anita McCain; his grandchildren, Michael Bolduc, Madison and Jack Pelletier, and Kaitlyn Greenlaw, as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by his companion of many years, Denise Acorace.
Richard's memorial gathering will be Friday, January 18th from 4-7pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St, Manchester. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, January 19th, 11am, at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 9 St. Francis Way, Litchfield.
