Richard W. Veilleux, 77, of Manchester, NH died on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Villa Crest Nursing & Retirement Center, in Manchester, NH.

Mr. Veilleux was born on June 29, 1948, in Lewiston, ME, the son of the late, Wilbrod J. and Carmen Y. (Pleau) Veilleux. He was a veteran and served in the United States Army.

Prior to his retirement, Mr. Veilleux was self-employed as a drywall installer for 45 years.

He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots, Boston Bruins and enjoyed boating on Lake Winnipesaukee, as well as snowmobiling. Mr. Veilleux was a country line dancing DJ and was a fan of Nascar following Dale Earnhardt.

Members of his family include; a brother, Raymond Veilleux, of Lewiston, ME; and a sister, Debbie (Veilleux) Goughnour Cookson of Raymond, NH; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Diane H. (Racine) Veilleux, who passed away on August 11, 2014.

SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A prayer service will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, 11 a.m. at Mount Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Road, Manchester, NH 03102.

The family wishes to thank the dedicated nurses at Villa Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation and the Visiting Nurses Association for their compassionate care of Richard, ensuring him comfort and dignity.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Richard Veilleux, may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or to the Visiting Nurses Association.
