Rita Lee Allain

Rita Lee Allain passed away on October 11, 2022 surrounded by her loving husband and daughters following a long standing battle with lung cancer. Rita was an empathetic, selfless woman who would often put others before herself. She is best known to be holding the hand of her husband, her endless love. She was happiest at the beach, on her motorcycle or camping, especially her journey along the coast to reconnect with her beloved stepmother, Sherry and siblings “Coco” and Kevin. Rita will always be remembered through flowers, butterflies and time spent in her garden.

Rita is predeceased by her mother, Donna Foley-Troy and father, William McIntire. Rita is survived by her husband of 34 years, Michael A. Allain, daughters Jamie Lee Iskra, Felicia N. Bates and Mikayla M. Allain, her son in laws Steven Iskra, Brian Bates and Casey Drinkwater. Rita is also survived by her three grandchildren, Reilly Bates, Avery Bates and Connor Drinkwater. We would be doing Rita a disservice if we did not mention her countless “bus children” that have left many imprints on her heart.

Rita’s visitation will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 6-7 pm with memorial services following immediately after at 7pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH.
