Rita Collins, 85, of 170 Anthony Street, Manchester, died April 27, 2004, at Catholic Medical Center. She was born in Manchester, NH on May 8, 1918, the daughter of Arsene and Josephine (Martineau) Bourque, and had been a lifelong resident of this area. Mrs. Collins was an avid golfer and loved to play bingo. She was a member of the Plausawa Country Club and the Ladies Auxiliary Teamster Local 633. She was the widow of Edward Collins who died in 1984. Family members include a son, Kenneth E. Collins of Manchester, a daughter, Mrs. John (Nancy) McQuade of Manchester, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two sisters, Theresa Gagnon and Laurette Major, both of Manchester, several nieces, nephews and cousins. In Her life she loved and enjoyed her two grandchildren, Heather McQuade and Amber McQuade, her two great grandchildren, Kaleb McQuade and Mercadez McQuade and her sister-in-law Marian Pesquera. SERVICES: Calling hours will be in the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10 oclock in St. Anthony Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
