Rita Beatrice Erskine

Rita B. Erskine Manchester – Rita B. (Lemieux) Erskine, 67, of Allenstown, died August 5, 2008 at the Hackett Hill Healthcare Center in Manchester after a long illness. Ms. Erskine was born in Manchester on May 31st, 1941. The daughter of Romeo and Lina (Tanguay) Lemieux. She attended Central High School. She married and relocated in 1959 to San Diego, California until her return to Manchester in 2000. She was a homemaker who loved to cook for friends and family and was only truly happy when caring for loved ones. Her hobbies included crocheting and sewing. She worked for a short time as a Cosmetology instructor in California. Her family includes her daughters, Nadine Braudaway of Imperial Beach, Ca and Judith Christensen of Lawton, OK; sons Scott Erskine of California and Douglas Erskine of Rosarito Beach, BC; Brother, Paul Lemieux of Fountain Hills, AZ; sisters Germaine Blanchette of Manchester and Gertrude Rybzyk of Manchester. She is predeceased by her brother George Lemieux and one granddaughter. She leaves twelve grandchildren and lots of nephews and nieces. A Mass of Christian Burial wiil be celebrated at St. Augustine Church, 382 Beech Street on Monday, August 11th at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, it asked that donations be made the American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Drive #110, Bedford, NH 03110.
