Rita B. Gosselin Loving Mother Rita B. Gosselin, 83, of Manchester died suddenly at home on September 6, 2005. Born on January 10, 1922 in Sherbrooke, Canada she was the daughter of George and Clara (Bourque) Provencal. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Manchester. Rita was an avid bowler, knitter and enjoyed her senior group. Most of all, she was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She was the widow of Adrien L. Gosselin who predeceased her in 1990. Family members include; five sons, Gerard Gosselin of Friendswood, Texas, Donald Gosselin of Hooksett, Roger Gosselin of Manchester, Normand Gosselin of Hooksett and Robert Gosselin of Bedford; two daughters, Jeanne Petrin of Northfield and Carmel Sauvageau of Manchester; a sister, Lydia Forest of Manchester; 15 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Rita was predeceased by a grandson, Kenneth Gosselin and siblings, Lucille Provencal Smith, Yvonne (Montour) Smith, Solange (Montour) Deminna, Alcide Montour, Armand Montour and William Montour. Calling hours will be Friday, September 9th from 2:00 until 4:00 and 7:00 until 9:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church with burial to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in her name to the Katrina Disaster Relief Fund, American Red Cross, and P.O. Box 37243, Washington, D.C. 20013.
