Rita M. Labrecque

Rita M. Labrecque, 83, of Manchester, NH, passed away on December 23, 2021 at Catholic Medical Center. Born in Chicopee, MA on February 26, 1938, she was one of thirteen children to the late Franciszek and Marie Jeanette (Dion) Stanek.

Rita was raised in Chicopee, MA and Manchester, NH. She lived her adult life in Manchester and worked for many years as a knitter at Manchester Knitting Fashion. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, Rita was the matriarch of her family and will be missed by all who knew her.

Rita is survived by her six children, Mary Labrecque of Manchester, Debra Labrecque of Manchester, Raymond Labrecque of Manchester, Michael Labrecque and his wife Patricia of Epsom, Robert Labrecque of Manchester, and Donald Labrecque and his wife Christine of Manchester; her brothers, Robert Stanek and his wife Jackie of Springfield, MA and George Stanek and his wife Elaine of Springfield, MA; her sister, Helen Manseau and her husband Robert of Strafford, NH; her sisters-in-law Joyce Stanek and Marlene Stanek of Springfield, MA; sister-in-law Jeannine Proulx of Manchester, NH and Leo and Yvette Labrecque of Allenstown, NH; her grandchildren, Felicia, Celina, Cecilia, Michael, Matthew, Kenneth and Ashlyn; as well as six great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Services will be held privately.
