Rita L. Peabody

Rita L. (Charron) Peabody, 73, of Concord, NH passed away on August 10, 2025.

She was born on January 5th, 1952, in Berlin, NH, the daughter of the late Roland and Germaine Charron.

Prior to her retirement, Rita worked for Marine MGA in NH, where she held the position of Senior Insurance Underwriter.

Rita enjoyed going on many cruises with her late husband, Don. She was a big New England Patriots fan. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her sister Ro, brother Lucien, and late brother Robert. Most of all she loved spending all her time with her husband, Don, who was her soul mate and the love of her life.

Rita is survived by her son, Lee Peabody of Manchester, NH; her sister, Rolande James (Jack) of Milton NH and her brother Lucien Charron (Deborah) of Gorham Maine, Sister in-laws Sharon Bernatchy and Pat Charron. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Tom, Peter, Lorri, and Wayne (Carol), grandnieces Jessica and Nicole and many other loved ones.

Rita expressed strong faith in the Bible’s promise of when she will see all her loved ones on a paradise earth. John 5:28,29

SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, August 19, from 4:00- 6:00 p.m. at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 172 King Street, in Boscawen. Interment will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, in Manchester.

Donations can be made to Amedisys Hospice care in memory of Rita Peabody.

Also, many thanks to the staff at the Birches of Concord and Amedisys Hospice who have been taking great care of her over the last several months.
