Rita I. Veilleux, 76, 55 Amory Street, died May 7, 2000, at her daughter's residence 94 McNeil Street. She was born in Nashua, NH on May 12, 1924, the daughter of Alfred and Bernadette (Raymond) Gauvin and had been a resident of Manchester for most of her life. She was a parishioner of Ste. Marie Church and was the widow of Leon Veilleux who died in 1998. Family members include three daughters, Mrs. John (Joan) Lafond of Texas, Mrs. Roland (Diane) Bouchard of Manchester, with whom she resided with since her illness and Mrs. John (Lucille) Cesare of N. Berwick, Maine, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, six sisters, Mrs. Gerard (Alice) Cote, Miss Estelle Pinette, both of Manchester, Mrs. Edmond (Doris) Valade of Goffstown, Miss Pauline Pinette of Manchester, Sister Lorraine Pinette, PM of Hudson and Mrs. Leon (Georgette) Barry of Litchfield, several nieces and nephews. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wedneday at 12 o'clock Noon in Ste. Marie Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
