Robert R. Blanchette

Robert R. Blanchette, 91, of Manchester NH, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 09, 2019, at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH.

Born in Manchester, he was the son of the late Edmond and Eva (Turcotte) Blanchette.

An honorably discharged veteran, Robert proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy. Following his military service, Robert was employed at Sanders for 25 years as a Senior Electronic Technician.

During the warmer months, he loved to fish and visit the ocean. On the weekends, Robert frequented local flea markets. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing cards and checkers.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Pamela Laliberte and husband Russell of Manchester; son, Gary Blanchette and wife Kathleen of Manchester; six grandchildren, Bryan, Nicholas, Katie, Jessica, Melissa, and Hannah; two great grandchildren, Benjamin and Samantha; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by his wife, Ann (Demetry) Blanchette; three brothers, Roger, Joe and Maurice; and three sisters, Ida, Rachael, and Yvonne.
