Robert “Bob” F. Norton, 61, of Manchester, NH passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at the Catholic Medical Center, in Manchester, NH.
Mr. Norton was born on November 22, 1964, in Waterville, ME, the son of John E. and Virginia “Sue” (Cottle) Norton.
Mr. Norton was self-employed and worked as a Mortgage Sales Representative. Prior to his career in the mortgage industry, Bob co-owned Shirt Works with several retail shops called Threadhead’s in NH and Massachusetts.
Bob graduated from Cony High School in 1983 and Northeastern University in 1988. He loved his dogs, Bertha, Gretchen and Buddy, they brought him much joy. He was a true deadhead, he loved the Grateful Dead and followed them around the country for years in the 1990’s, making many friends along the way. He loved golf and was hoping for 1 more game. Bob enjoyed his vegetable garden, watching all New England sports teams and telling stories. Bob was a master storyteller and would have everyone in tears laughing, he had some great ones.
Members of his family include; a son, Zachary McInnis and his fiancé, Laura Beohner, a daughter, Lillian R. Walsh, three grandchildren, Brooke, Zoey and Hunter McInnis, a brother, William Norton and his wife, Linda, two sisters, Julie Norton, Candace Hubert and her husband, Jared, many nieces and nephews and his long time friend, Patti Clark. He was predeceased by his sister, Jill Robards and her husband, Jeff, and by his grandparents, William and Ines Cottle of Waterville, ME.

SERVICES: A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
