Robert J. Bryant, Jr., 71, of Manchester, passed away at Catholic Medical Center on December 30, 2019.
He was born in Palo Alto, CA on November 6, 1948, the son of Robert and Carol (Blanchard) Bryant, Sr. He worked for DEKA Research as a software engineer, where he wrote software for many medical devices including HomeChoice Claria Dialysis and multiple infusion pumps. He enjoyed playing the guitar, loved to cook and BBQ. He was a beloved father to more than his own children.
Family members include his wife of 48 years, Shiela (Barrows) Bryant; three daughters, Bobbi Bryant of Manchester, Carol Vallee and her husband Jason of
Bedford, and Shawnna Bryant of Manchester; a son, James Barnes and his wife Aurore of Manchester; and three grandchildren, Evelyn, Jude, and Vivienne.
A memorial gathering will take place on Friday from 6 to 9 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester with an informal service to take place around 7 PM.
