Robert C. Deely

Robert C. Deely, 84, formerly of 9 Lindsay Road, Hooksett, died December 28, 2005 at Harborside Northwood Nursing Home in Bedford. He was born in Springfield, MA on July 2, 1921, the son of Thomas and Rose (Moison) Deely and had been a Massachusetts resident for most of his life before moving to NH in 1992. He was a World War II Army Veteran. He was a certified prosthesis and orthopedic fitter for Pomeroy and Company for over 20 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree and was a past grand knight. He had also been a Eucharistic minister. He was the widow of Rita (Brunelle) Deely who died in 2004. Family members include his daughter, Rita Grasso of Goffstown, two sisters, Margaret Deely and Rose Santoro both of MA; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering on Wednesday January 4th from 9 to 10 AM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street. A memorial service will follow at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 360 Route 101, Unit 501, Bedford, NH 03110.
