Robert F. "Jaucko" Dionne, 77, of Manchester, passed away at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston on November 25, 2012 with his family by his side.
He was born in Manchester on June 16, 1935, the son of Frederick and Ida (Gagnon) Dionne. He was a Korean War Air Force Veteran and served in the US Merchant Marines during the Vietnam War. His military assignments and personal travels allowed him to experience many interesting places worldwide. He enjoyed traveling, collecting coins, watching football and NASCAR, and most of all, spending time with his family.
Family members include his wife of 39 years, Lai Ming (Lee) Dionne; a son, Michael Dionne; a daughter, Michele Dionne; four brothers, David Dionne, Peter Dionne, Edouard Dionne, and Raymond Dionne; one sister, Suzanne Dionne, and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
A graveside memorial service with military honors will take place on Friday December 7, 2012 at the NH State Veterans Cemetery at 9:00 AM.
