Robert A. Dugas

Robert A. Dugas, 88, well known Manchester home builder and Realtor passed away peacefully on January 18, 2024. 

Bob was born in Concord, NH on March 10, 1935, the son of the late Arthur and Blanche (Pelletier) Dugas.  He was a graduate of Goffstown High School and the New Hampshire Technical College, Manchester.

Bob was an entrepreneur from the early age of thirteen.  Over the years, Bob built hundreds of homes in the Manchester area and was especially motivated to build for the first-time home buyer. He was a past member, director and treasurer of the Manchester Home Builders Association and was honored as the Association's 1983 "Builder of the Year". He was a past member and President of the Pinardville Lions Club. In the 1990's, Bob was the owner-broker of RE/MAX Professionals in Manchester and later an associate broker with RE/MAX Property Specialists Group in Bedford.  During those years, he received numerous awards for his sales achievements. Bob also served on various committees as a member of the Manchester Area Board of Realtors.

Bob loved planning activities with his family including skiing and boating. He and his wife, Vi, loved to participate in square and ballroom dancing, RV travel, golfing, and snowmobiling.  For the past 18 years, they made their home in The Villages, FL.

His family includes his loving wife of 67 years, Violet (Fortier) Dugas of Manchester, NH and their children and spouses: Paul and Fern Dugas of Sante Fe, NM; Pamela and Robert Riccardi of New Boston, NH; Kenneth and Maryse Dugas, of Deerfield, NH; grandchildren and their spouses: Jesse and Amanda Riccardi, Zacharie and Kerry Dugas, Troy and Megan Riccardi, Isaac Dugas and his fiancé Katie; great-grandchildren: Corbin and Raegan Riccardi, Calvin Dugas; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Wednesday, January 31 from 10:30 to 12:30 with a memorial service to follow in the funeral home at 12:30.
