Robert Joseph Nere Gelinas

Robert Joseph Nere Gelinas, 85, of Estero Florida, passed away on January 19, 2020. Born on June 16, 1934 to Nere & Aurore (Janelle) Gelinas in Manchester New Hampshire, Robert would spend his last years in Florida with his loving wife Phyllis.

Robert proudly served in the US Army in Germany from 1954 to 1957. Upon his return to Manchester, Robert enjoyed over 35 years of service to the Manchester Fire Department, as well as serving as an EMT for 5 of those years. Robert was always proud to serve others and was always keeping busy no matter where he was. In addition to his passion for his work, Robert loved playing tennis and working with computers. Above all, Robert loved his family immensely, and will be deeply missed by all who he leaves behind.

Robert has joined his parents Nere & Aurore Gelinas; sister Terry Beauvais; son Robert S. and his first wife of 43 years Priscilla Mooney in heaven.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis Gelinas; daughter Kathryn Ebling; sister Irene Adams; grandchildren Desiray Gelinas & Eric Mitchell; great grandchildren Christa Fegley & Ryan Mitchell, and many extended family members and friends.
