ROBERT WALTER HANEHAN

LITTLETON, NH  Robert W. Hanehan, 81, of Pleasant Street, passed away on November 30, 2004 at the Grafton County Nursing Home.

Robert was born a son to Walter and Ellen (McCarthy) Hanehan on July 16, 1923 in Stillwater, NY. He was employed by the West Virginia Paper Company as a Production Manager for many years.

Robert was an Exalter of the B.P.O. Elks Lodge 1831 as well a member of the Knights of Columbus and held the post of Grand Mason. He enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, late night poker games, and fishing with his granddaughters and friends. We have all lost a great man.

Surviving family members include his wife, Mary (Wilk) Hanehan of Littleton; one son, Larry Hanehan; one daughter, Regina Phair of Berlin, NH; one brother, Michael Hanehan of Stillwater, NY; one sister, Marie Lewis of Stillwater, NY; three grandchildren, Katrina, Christine, and Tiffany; and two great-grandchildren, Zackery and Amanda. Two brothers predeceased Robert.

SERVICES  At the familys request, there will be no local services. Funeral services will be held at the St. Peter Church in Stillwater, New York.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff on the Profile Floor of the Grafton County Nursing Home.
