ROBERT G. HINCKLEY
MANCHESTER – Robert G. Hinckley, 59, died peacefully, on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at his residence.
Mr. Hinckley was born on June 15, 1953, in Waltham, MA, the son of Robert H. and Betsy (Griswold) Hinckley.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Hampshire. He was a horticulturist and self-employed business owner.
Mr. Hinckley enjoyed the outdoors, plants, and cabinetry. He also was an accomplished musician. He played the guitar, and performed in several bands throughout his life. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Members of his family in addition to his mother include; his loving wife of 25 years, Becky (Kennedy) Hinckley, of Manchester; one son, Robert Jesse Hinckley, of Manchester; a daughter, Hannah Hinckley, also of Manchester; two sisters, Dianne Bramblett, of Sulphur Springs, TX; Nancy Hinckley, and her husband, Casey Dowdell, of Cambridge, MA; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Hinckley was predeceased by his sister, Carol LaTraverse of Goffstown, NH.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be Thursday, October 11, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street in Manchester, at which time a celebration of life for Mr. Hinckley will be held.
