ROBERT EDWARD HUDSON
LINCOLN, NH Robert E. Hudson, 70, of Pollard Road, passed away on December 11, 2004 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.
Robert was born on December 13, 1933, a son to Delbert and Ethel (Wheelock) Hudson, in Thetford, VT. He attended Woodsville Schools.
The Rowins Cheese Mill in Wells River, VT employed Robert for many years, as well as the Newman Lumber Company. Beginning in 1982, he and his wife, Violet, wintered in Florida where he was employed as a chef in several hotels. During the summer he was employed at the Mount Washington Hotel and Cog Railway until he retired in 2001. Robert admired antique cars and he and Violet toured the state of New Hampshire and attended the Loudon bike races for several years on a trike motorcycle that he built.
Robert leaves his wife, Violet Hudson of Lincoln, several children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, two brothers, two sisters, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
SERVICES A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, December 15th at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Rose Cemetery with Rev. Fr. Daniel Sinibaldi as Celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of ones choice.
