Robert R. Hullette, 80, of Milford, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 23, 2018, in the comfort of his daughters' home in New Ipswich, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Gardner, MA, he was the son of the late Andrew and Doris (Gravel) Hullette.
A retired Master Sergeant, Bob proudly served his country for over 21 years in the United States Air Force, 1953 to 1975. Bob remained active in the Air Force Reserves until 1984. Following his military career, Bob had been employed by Pilgrim Foods for over 25 years until his retirement. During retirement, Bob worked part-time for Kerk Products.
A dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Bob was the pillar of strength for his family. Bob was a member of the American Legion Post #13 and was part of the Colorguard Squad. Bob enjoyed his trips to the casinos with his three favorite girls. Bob enjoyed the family get togethers and barbeques. Bob will be best remembered for his wit and sense of humor and love of family.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Michele, with whom he shared over 59 years of marriage; son, Daniel Hullette and wife Kimberly of Amherst; two daughters, Jacqueline Veilleux and husband Ronald of New Ipswich, and Marie Vaillancourt and husband William of New Ipswich; two grandchildren, Christopher Veilleux and his wife Jessica and Bailey Vaillancourt; two great grandchildren, Zachary and Kyra Veilleux; brother, Rudy Hullette and wife Janice of Fitchburg, MA; sister Doris Moulton of Texas; several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by three brothers and one sister.
ARRANGEMENTS: His private Committal Service with Military Honors will be held at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen on Thursday, March 1, at 12:00P.M. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Bob's memory to the Greenville Food Pantry at Sacred Heart Church, 15 High St, Greenville, NH 03048.
