LITTLETON, NH --- Robert Prescott Miller, 81, passed away on March 12, 2007 at the Littleton Regional Hospital. Born December 28, 1925, in Littleton, NH, he was a son of Elmer E. and Elenora (Prescott) Miller.

Robert attended Littleton Schools and served in the United States Army in the 48th Armored Infantry Battalion during the European Theatre of WWII. Robert was employed by the Littleton Water and Light Department for over 36 years. He was a member of the V.F.W. Howard Shawney Post # 816, the American Legion Post #68 of Bethlehem, and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans. Although he enjoyed hiking, fishing, and hunting, his favorite passion was just being in the outdoors. He was also well known for his card playing abilities.

Bob is survived by two sons, Gary L. Miller of Dalton, NH, and Glen A. Miller of New Hartford, NY; one daughter, Ann C. LaLeme of Bethlehem, NH; one brother, Wayne E. Miller of Littleton, NH; several grand and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Georgiana (White) Miller.

SERVICES: A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 16th, at 1:00 p.m. at the Pillsbury Funeral Home, 101 Union Street, Littleton with the Rev. Barbara Thrall officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in the Maple Street Cemetery in Bethlehem, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Roberts name to the Littleton Senior Center Meals on Wheels Program, Cottage Street, Littleton, NH 03561.
