ROBERT MISH
LITTLETON, NH -- Robert ("Bob") Mish of Littleton, New Hampshire passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Littleton Regional Hospital following a brief
illness.
Bob was born in Morristown, New Jersey on October 12, 1935, the son of the late Michael and Mary (Vorholz) Mish. He was raised in
Morris Plains, NJ and graduated from Morristown High School in 1953.
Following three years of service with the Army in Germany, he was employed for nine years by New Jersey Bell Telephone as a splicer.
He then worked thirty-seven years as a troubleshooter for Jersey Central Power & Light Company, retiring in 2000.
On August 29, 1970, Bob married Sharon Mackron, and he and his wife of forty-six years lived in Montville, New Jersey until 2004 when
they moved to Littleton. Bob and Sharon vacationed for many years in New England, and living their retirement years together in the North
Country was their dream come true. Bob throughout his life loved nature and being involved with animals (including their cherished dogs
Nika and Maggie). He was an avid and accomplished fisherman who got his fair share of good catches.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife Sharon; niece Debra Miller, her husband Robert and their daughters Kari and Kimberly; nephew
Scott Warner, his wife Ann Marie and their son Kurt; and many cherished friends.
SERVICES -- A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 18 at the Pillsbury Phaneuf Funeral Home, 101 Union Street in Littleton.
