Robert C. Montmarquet

Robert (Bob) Montmarquet, died after a valiant fight with lung cancer at his home on November 19th, 2018 in Raymond NH at the age of 72. Born on September 5th, 1946 to the late Edward and Loretta (Landry) Montmarquet in Lowell MA, Bob would go on to spend the last 21 years of his life in New Hampshire.

Throughout his life, Bob worked as a drywall hanger for many years after attending trade school and later completing his GED. He would eventually retire after 20+ years from Lantheus Medical Imaging, Inc. in 2011.

A devout Christian, Bob attended the Raymond Baptist Church with his wife for many years and was also a volunteer for the Sonshine Community Table until his illness prevented him from participation. He loved both fresh water and deep-sea fishing, spending time with his buddy Chevy, the family dog, and his favorite pastime; watching TV. Above all, Bob loved spending time with his wife, whether it was at home sitting on the porch enjoying the chipmunks, squirrels and birds, travelling around the world, or spending time in their favorite areas of Maine and New Hampshire, especially North Conway NH. Jane always brought him comfort and joy.

Bob will be remembered as a kind and easy-going person who loved his family and friends immensely. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jane (Parkhurst) Montmarquet; 2 daughters, Kimberley and Bob Wade of Raymond NH, and Karen and Michael Beauregard of Raymond NH; 4 siblings, Paul, Richard, Denise and Roger Montmarquet; 7 grandchildren, Kristin Hernandez of Tyngsboro MA, Bobby Wade of Nashua NH, Nathan Hamilton of Nashua NH, Brenda Wade of Lowell MA, Amanda Beauregard of Raymond NH, Travis Hamilton of Conway SC, and Amber Beauregard of Raymond NH. Bob also leaves behind 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many other family members and friends as well.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Sunday, November 25th at 2:00 PM at the Raymond Baptist Church, 145 Rte-27 in Raymond NH (Google Maps). Beverages and snacks will be served immediately afterwards in the great room of the church. Bob's remains will stay with his wife Jane until her passing, at which time they will be scattered together.
