Robert R. Morin, 83, a veteran of the US Navy, passed away peacefully in his home on January 20, 2021. He was born on October 23, 1937 in Manchester, NH to Romeo and Juliette Morin.
He was the Husband of Lorraine (Gagnon) Morin, married for 56 "wonderful years".
Robert was a graduate of West High School in Manchester, NH. Bob enlisted in the Navy upon graduation and relished to this day his adventures on the high seas while serving on the USS Intrepid.
He retired from Cotter and Company after twenty-six years as a Distribution Engineer
Bob enjoyed calling bingo at St. Edmunds church. He loved socializing, telling jokes, and was often referred to by some as the unofficial Mayor of Pinardville. Recently, he was often seen traversing Manchester and Pinardville on his scooter.
He is predeceased by Brother Marcel Morin, Sisters Connie Correia, Aline Beauregard and Juliette Martel.
Robert is survived by his Wife Lorraine, son Gary his wife Mary, Son Brian, Fiancé Helen Walsh, Sister Estelle St Cyr, Grandsons Nicholas, Kyle and Jacob, Granddaughters Sarah and Lauren, great Granddaughter Lillie.
A gathering will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Home 250 Coolidge Ave, Manchester, NH on Sunday, January 24, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
Services will be held at the Parish of the Transfiguration 107 Alsace St, Manchester, NH on Monday, January 25, at 10:00am followed by interment at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH. Please note that current restrictions and regulations require those in attendance to wear face coverings and practice social distancing.
