Robert L. Neugebauer

Robert L. Neugebauer, 76, of Bedford died on May 18, 2004 at the Laurel Center. Mr. Neugebauer was born on July 13, 1927 in Manchester, the son of the late Victor A. and Aline (Auger) Neugebauer. He graduated from West High School and St. Anselms College and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy. He worked for many years as a plant manager for Honeywell & Leighton Machine in Manchester. Mr. Neugebauer enjoyed working around his yard, which he called “God’s Cathedral.” Family members include; his wife of 39 years, Muriel (Chase) Neugebauer; one daughter, Gayle Bohall of Naples, FL; one step-son, Craig Delong of Sidney, ME; four grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; one brother, Victor D. Neugebauer of Bedford; four sisters, Marie Blanchard of Canton, MA, Patricia Parrack of Bellaire, TX, Aline Burbank of Bedford, and Beverly Toolin of Bedford; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Philip Neugebauer of Madison, GA in 1997. There will be no calling hours. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Phaneuf Funeral Home and Crematorium is in charge of arrangements.
