Robert “Bob” A. Nolet of Manchester, NH, born on September 16, 1935, passed away peacefully at his home on August 23, 2026. Bob was the son of Albert Nolet and Imelda (Trudeau), and husband of the late Linda Nolet (Keach).

Robert was born and raised in Biddeford, Maine, and the family moved to Manchester in his teenage years. He served proudly in the United States Army 82nd Airborne and was a Green Beret. After his service, Bob worked as a glazier for 27 years at United Glass. In the 70’s, Bob was involved with the Manchester Vikings and the Blackhawks and earned his nickname “Cocoa”. In his final years, he lived with his daughter Cindy and her husband Norman in Bedford.

He was predeceased by his wife; Linda, and his son; Richard Nolet.

Robert is survived by his beloved daughter; Cindy and her husband Norman Coutu, his step-daughter; Shane Atkins and her husband Chris Schleyer, and his grandchildren; Jennifer, Joseph, Emily, Samuel, Jacob, Andrew, and Mathew, and several great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be on Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday August 28 at 10:00am at Ste. Marie Parish, 378 Notre Dame Ave, Manchester, NH. Burial will be held privately in Biddeford, Maine.
