Robert Joseph Paquin, Sr., 83 of Manchester passed away at his residence with his family by his side on September 14, 2018.

He was born in Manchester on November 25, 1934, the son of Armand A. Paquin and Zoë (Desilets) Paquin Gill. He was in the Air National Guard with the 101st Fighter Group and also the 133rd Refueling Group. He was employed with Auclair Trucking with the Teamsters Union until the mid 1980's. Subsequently, he worked in the maintenance department at St. Anselm College until the age of 77. He was a passionate coin collector. He enjoyed frequenting yard sales with his grandchildren, listening to music, was an avid iTunes downloader, and even published a few iTunes playlists. Bob was an active parishioner at St. Anthony's Church. He enjoyed remodeling his home and helped all his children with their homes. He liked to entertain family and friends with stories about his youth. He was the widower of Annette (Martineau) Paquin who died in 2011.

Family members include three sons, Armand Paquin and his wife Suzanne of Manchester, Richard Paquin and his wife Lynne of Goffstown, and Robert Paquin Jr., and his wife Francine Bilodeau of Manchester; two daughters, Lou-Anne Paquin of Manchester; and Diane Paquin and her spouse Sharon Brown of Manchester; seven grandchildren, Kristine Turcotte and her husband Scott, Daniel Paquin and his wife Laura, Jeffrey Paquin and his girlfriend Jennifer Galante, Jennifer Paquin, Nicolas Paquin, Matthew Brown Paquin, and Domonic Brown Paquin; two great grandchildren, Kaylee Turcotte and Reagan Turcotte; two sisters, Anna Paquin Boisvert and her husband Lucien of Bedford and Doris Beekman of Manchester; a step-brother, the Rev. Paul Gill of CA; and nephews, nieces, and cousins. He also leaves behind his long-time companion, Simone Goulet of Manchester and her family.

A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Ave., Manchester on Friday from 4 to 8 PM. A Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday morning at St. Anthony Church. Urn internment will take place at a later date in the columbarium at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memorial to the VNA of Manchester and Southern NH, 1070 Holt Ave. #400, Manchester, NH 03109.
