Robert A. Perreault, Sr., 72, of 321 West Mitchell Street, died May 25, 2000 at Catholic Medical Center following a long illness. He was born in Manchester on September 21, 1927, the son of the late Alphonse and Laudoria (Breton) Perreault and had been a resident of the City for most of his life. He was a World War II Army Veteran and fought at the Battle of Iwo Jima. During his career, he owned Bob's Wrecking and Building and Perreault Landscaping. He had also worked for the Manchester Transit Authority. He was very active at the Carpenter Center and was a past member of the Knights of Columbus. Family members include his wife of 26 years, June (Valois) Perreault; two daughters, Deanna ''Dee'' Perreault and Laurie Swiatek, both of Manchester; four sons, Shawn Lemieux of Manchester, Wayne Perreault of Goffstown, Gary Perreault of Wisconsin and Robert Perreault, Jr. of Manchester; several grandchildren; a brother, Maurice Perreault of Manchester; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. A memorial reception will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St. on Tuesday morning from 9 to 10 with a memorial service following at 10:00 in the funeral home chapel.
