OBITUARY NOTICE
ROBERT G. PICARD
MANCHESTER â Robert G. Picard, 75, died on Monday, August 8, 2011, at his residence in Manchester.
Mr. Picard was born on August 6, 1936, in Fitchburg, MA, the son of the late Ernest and Mary (Kittredge) Picard. He was a resident of Manchester for the past 21 years. Prior to this, he lived in Nashua.
Mr. Picard grew up in Fitchburg, MA and attended local schools there.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Picard was employed at Nashua Corporation, for 37 years, where he was a machine operator.
He enjoyed doing yard work around his home and tending to his flower gardens. Other interests include; cooking, photography and traveling throughout the United States and Canada.
Members of his family include his wife of 16 years, Laurette (Grandmaison) Picard, of Manchester; two sons, Warren Picard, of Nashua; Michael Picard, of Milford; two daughters, Colleen Warshafsky, of Boxford, MA; Wendy Army, of Eastover, SC; 11 grandchildren; two step sons, David Morgan, of Newton, MA; Michael Morgan, of Manchester, and one stepdaughter, Debra Hadden, of Manchester. Mr. Picard was predeceased by his twin sister, Carol Leger, of Florida.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August, 12, 2011, at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 D.W. Highway, in Boscawen at 12:00 Noon.
