Robert G. Richard

Robert "Bobby" G. Richard, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Manchester, NH, he is the son of the late Gerard and Cecile (Desruisseaux) Richard. Raised and educated in Manchester, Bobby worked for the United States Postal Service until his retirement.

A dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Bobby was the pillar of strength for his family. Bobby cherished time spent with family, especially his granddaughter Lilly. An avid sports fan, Bobby cheered for all the New England teams. Bobby will be best remembered for his gentle spirit, love of family, and his sharp sense of humor.

Bobby is survived by his son, Matthew Richard of Manchester; two daughters, Sandra Hurley of Manchester and Anne Richard of Franklin; granddaughter, Lilly; brother, Paul Richard; sister, Lucille McCann; beloved dog, Ollie; several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, Bobby was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth (Hughson) Richard.

ARRANGEMENTS: His Visitation will be held in the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Wednesday, December 5, from 6:00 to 8:00P.M. His Committal Service will be held at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester, on Thursday, December 6 at 10:00A.M.
