Robert A. Robidoux

Robert A. Robidoux, 70, of 49 Lafayette Street, died October 15, 2003 at Catholic Medical Center. He was born in Manchester on June 5, 1933, the son of Gedeon and Lina (Duhamel) Robidoux and had been a lifelong resident of the City. He was a graduate of West High School and was a United States Navy Veteran, serving on the USS Intrepid. He was honorably discharged from the military in 1956. He had been employed by the US Postal Service for 34 years. He enjoyed many sports and was an avid tennis player and bowler. He earned many trophies and medals while participating in these sports. He loved to hike and was a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club. Family members include his wife of 31 years, Pauline R. (Rouleau) Robidoux, a son, David Robidoux of Goffstown; four daughters, Debbie Stratton of Manchester, Donna Hebert of Goffstown, Linda Pichette and Nancy Bartlett, both of Manchester; two step-daughters, Jeannine Forand and Paula Picardi, both of Litchfield; 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; a brother, Maurice Robidoux of Naples, FL; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 11:00 in the Church of the Transfiguration. Entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
