Robert P. Schreiber, 88, of Manchester, died December 1, 2004 at the Maple Leaf Health Care Center. He was born in Manchester on October 8, 1916, the son of Paul and Margaret (Herkner) Schreiber and had been a lifelong resident of the city. He had worked at Genest Bakery for 30 years until his retirement and was a member of Local 686. Mr. Schreiber was a long time member of Holy Trinity Polish National Catholic Cathedral where he had been an usher, member of the senior bowling league and a church volunteer. He had also been the caretaker of Holy Trinity Cemetery for 18 years. Family members include his wife of 65 years, Emily (Musial) Schreiber; a son, Gary Schreiber of Naples, FL; a daughter, Mrs. Norman (Joyce) Deminna of Manchester; one granddaughter; a brother Roland Schreiber of Fremont and several nephews, nieces and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday at Noon in Holy Trinity Polish National Cathedral. Urn burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
