Robert Joseph Silver

Reverend Robert Joseph Silver, 63, of Manchester, passed away April 14, 2008 at the Hospice House in Concord. He was born in Cambridge, MA on December 11, 1944, the son of Warren and June (Hayes) Silver and had been a NH resident for the past 14 years. He attended Lee College in TN where he received a bachelor's degree and later a master's degree in Theology. For the past 14 years, he had been the pastor of the Church of God on Mooresville Road in Manchester and had been a minister of the Gospel for over 30 year. His favorite pastime was preaching the Gospel. He loved New England and going to the ocean. Family members include his wife of 44 years, Connie (Gray) Silver; three sons, Glen Edward Silver of Meredith, Scott Warren Silver of Manchester and Joel Robert Silver of Bartlett; two daughters, Kelly Lynn Kretchmer of Redding, CA and Christy Lee Silver of Auburn; ten grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces. Calling hours will be at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM.
