Robert “Bob” Thompson, 66, of Bedford, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, following complications after a liver transplant on August 25, 2025.

Born on October 5, 1959, in Biddeford, Maine, to Franklin Thompson and Charlene Boisvert Thompson. Bob lived a life filled with laughter, generosity, and a deep love for his family and friends. Proudly serving six years in the United States Air Force,

Bob worked as an overnight shift supervisor at MS Walker, where he was known for his strong work ethic, steady leadership, and good humor. He retired in 2021 after 34 years.

Bob had a passion for cooking whether inventing new recipes or perfecting old favorites, he found joy in sharing his creations with family and friends. His favorite moments were spent in the kitchen with his daughter, passing on his love of food and creativity. He also loved skiing, teaching others to ski, and spending time on the slopes with friends and family. A bourbon enthusiast, Bob enjoyed sampling new ones but especially loved a glass of Four Roses.

He was always up for an adventure, whether exploring new places or finding beauty in the simple moments outdoors. Camping was Bob’s happy place sitting by a fire, surrounded by nature, family, and good conversation.

Bob’s warmth, humor, and caring spirit touched everyone who knew him. He was the kind of person who made you feel welcome, who listened, and who always had time to help or share a story.

Bob is survived by his devoted wife and best friend, Judy Thompson of Bedford, NH; his beloved daughter, Hannah Amodio, and her husband, Zachary Amodio; and his two beautiful granddaughters, Elleigh-Lynn and Everleigh Amodio, who brought endless joy to his life. He also leaves behind his brother, Bill Thompson; his sister, Laura Cote; and his uncle, Ted Boisvert; his three loyal companions Nugget, Misty, and Boo. Along with many friends and extended family who will miss him dearly.

Visiting hours to honor and celebrate Bob’s life will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at The Phaneuf Funeral Home & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH.

Bob will be remembered for his kind heart, his laughter, his love of adventure, and the way he made every moment richer for those around him. His love will continue to live on through the meals he taught others to make, the animals he adored, and the family who carries his spirit forward every day.

Bob’s greatest joy was his family — his wife, his daughter, and his granddaughters. They were the light of his life, and his love for them will forever be the heartbeat of his memory.
