Robert E. Towle

Robert Everett Towle Concord, NH passed away peacefully at Hospice House Thursday morning Nov 10th after a period of declining health. Robert was born at home in Concord, NH to Edgar and Dorothy French Towle on January 1st, 1933. He lived his entire life on “The Heights” raising 8 children. 

Robert is survived by his wife Mary Sanders Towle, children Ronald Towle, Ryan Towle, Roxanne Strong, Deborah Sanders, Scott Sanders, Michael Sanders & Roger Towle as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Along with his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Vernon & James Towle, sisters Barbra Preve and Carolyn Pedeare and his son Russell Towle.  

Robert worked for Rumford Press of Concord until the Concord building closed and spent his last working years for The Hodges Companies

Robert spent his retirement between Florida, Concord and Lake Winnipesaukee as well as spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was also fascinated by science and nature, always watching/reading nature shows and articles and reading the newspaper.

The family will receive visitors Wednesday, November 16th 11am-1pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 172 King Street in Boscawen with burial to follow immediately at Blossom Hill Cemetery, 207 N State St, Concord.
