Robert E. Webster, 75, of Manchester, NH died on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Webster was born on April 4, 1948, in Brattleboro, VT, the son of the late Harold and Margaret (Porter) Webster. He was a 1967 graduate of St. Michael High School in Brattleboro.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Webster was employed as a utility worker at Compass Group USA.
He enjoyed watching college football, especially Notre Dame games, and going to sporting events, concerts, and plays. Bob and Patti had many good times at York Beach in Maine and enjoyed many memorable weekends away. For the past 16 years, they spent their free time at All Seasons Campground in Weare, NH where they were blessed by the wonderful company of many good friends. Bob was a Third-Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus, a member of the Precious Blood Legion of 1000 Men, and was president of the 50th reunion committee for his high school’s graduating class in 2017.
Members of his family include his wife of 40 years, Patricia “Patti” (Kearney) Webster of Manchester, NH; a sister, Kelly W. McIntire and her husband, Scott; a nephew, Kevin McIntire; niece and goddaughter, Mary Ellen McIntire, and niece, Jill McIntire. Mr. Webster was predeceased by his parents and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023 from 4 – 7 p.m. at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester. A Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, 10 a.m. at St. Catherine Church, 207 Hemlock Street, in Manchester. Committal prayers and interment will be held at 2 p.m. in Calvary Cemetery, Portsmouth, NH.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Mr. Webster to the Knights of Columbus or St. Catherine Church, 207 Hemlock Street, Manchester, NH 03104.
