Robert Stuart Wisell, 63, of Hinsdale, NH passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield, MA. He was born in Brattleboro, VT on December 7, 1951, the son of the late Howard and Joyce (Sprague) Wisell.
Robert was educated in the local school system, graduating from Brattleboro High School, Class of 1969. He was employed as a machinist at Fibermark and also worked for many years at Book Press in Brattleboro. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, making his own custom designed fishing poles, NASCAR, #24 Jeff Gordon being his favorite. He was also former member of the Brattleboro Eagles Club and the Brattleboro bowling league. Roberts's proudest and greatest joy in life was his five grandsons, with whom he loved spending time with.
He is predeceased by his former wife, Linda Johndro in 2008 and a sister, Nancy Peters.
He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Lepisto of Hinsdale, NH and Heather Remick and her husband Matthew of Richmond, NH; two brothers, James Wisell of Laconia, NH and Stanley Wisell of Hinsdale, NH; five grandsons, Zachary, Austin, Alec, Nathan, and Greyson; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 1 PM at Baptist Church of West Brattleboro, 979 Western Ave., Brattleboro, VT.
