Roberta A. Baker

Roberta “Berta” A. (Sullo) Baker, 81, of Manchester, passed away on August 16, 2022, at the Hanover Hill Health Care Center.

She was born in Watertown, MA on November 11, 1940, the daughter of the late Peter and Josephine (Lopez) Sullo. Berta had worked for many years as an administrative assistant with Bartley and Associates. She was passionate about New England sports, especially the Red Sox and Patriots. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, nephews, and nieces. She loved music and dancing and was a social butterfly. She had a very silly side to her. She will be missed by her family and all her friends and staff at Hanover Hill who adored her.

Family members include her daughter, Theresa Smith of Manchester; her son Matthew Parker and his wife Tracie of SC; seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild; a sister, Margaret Pierce of Watertown, MA; and nephews, nieces, and cousins.

A memorial gathering to celebrate her life will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Thursday, August 25^th from 2 to 3 PM followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
