Roberta Raymond

Roberta M. “Ruby” (Margaretis) Raymond, 74, of 151 Ward Street, died May 25, 2006 at her residence. She was born in Manchester on January 11, 1932, the daughter of Christos and Pauline (Koukourlis) Margaretis and had been a lifelong resident of the City. She was a 1950 graduate of Central High School and attended Hesser College. She had been employed for many years at the Manchester City Library. She was an avid reader and studied many subjects including philosophy, genealogy, natural sciences and numerology. Family members include her husband of 53 years, Daniel Raymond; five sons, Steven Raymond of Burbank CA, Kenneth Raymond of San Pedro, CA, James Raymond of Manchester, Chris Raymond of Auburn and Thomas Raymond of Draper, UT; a daughter, Dena Vaudrien of Hooksett, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Tuesday from 4 to 6 PM. A service will take place in the funeral home at 6:00 PM.
