Robin McConnell

March 2, 1958 — December 31, 2022

Concord

On December 31, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer, Robin Jean McConnell succumbed to her struggles.

Robin McConnell was born in Malden, MA on March 02, 1958, to the late Joseph McConnell and Phyllis (Jones Grover) McConnell. She was one of 11 children and grew up in Tewksbury, MA where she graduated from Shawsheen Valley Technical High School.

Robin was the life partner of Robert Voight, and they enjoyed 18 happy years together until Robin’s passing. They enjoyed working on the property in Deerfield, NH. Robin’s happiest times were working with Bob, operating her Kubota, and being with nature. This is the site of many cookouts, at which Robin was able enjoy her family and friends, especially her grandsons.

For many years, Robin co-headed an extremely successful Christmas program for The Salvation Army. Thousands of families were able to enjoy Christmas as a result of Robin’s hard work and dedication. In fact, Robin’s greatest gift was her everyday kindness and unselfish commitment to helping others in every way, expecting nothing in return.

Robin is survived by her partner, Bob; her children, Rebecca Hargrave and Randy Goss; and grandsons Kip Hargrave, Dutch Hargrave, and Lucas Cyckowski Goss, as well as many friends, who will miss her dearly.

No formal services will be held at this time; however, a Month’s Mind Mass will be held at 9:00am on January 29, 2023, at Christ the King Church in Concord, NH. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.

Those who wish may make a memorial contribution to the Payson Center for Cancer (Concord, NH) in Robin’s memory. Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium is assisting the family with arrangements.
