Rodney Crete, very active in Church Activities. Rodney Louis Crete, 48, of Manchester, NH, died July 31, 2005. at Merrimack Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH after a brief illness. He was born in Grasmere, NH on February 7, 1957, the son of Louis Crete and Carol (Hooper) Crete, and had been a lifelong resident of the Auburn and Manchester Communities. Rodney was a graduate of Central High School, Class of 1975. He was a computer programmer with Fidelity Insurance for nine years. He worked many years for NH Insurance Company and was with Boston Data in Boston, MA. for three years. Mr. Crete was a member of the Eagle Scouts, was very active with baseball, was Treasurer for the Colt and Pony Baseball of Deerfield Park. Rodney was a Eucharistic Minister for St. Peters Church and was very active in Church activities. Family members include his wife, Judith Judy (ORourke) Crete of Manchester, two sons; Henry Crete, stationed with the Navy in Norfolk, Virginia and Zackary Crete, stationed with the Marines in Cherry Point, North Carolina, his father of Woodlands, Texas, his mother of Auburn, NH, his maternal grandmother, Rhoda Hooper of Goffstown and New Boston, three brothers; Donald Crete of Auburn, Roger Crete of Manchester and David Crete of Goffstown, two sisters; Linda Ditroia of Hooksett and Nancy Crete of Shirley, Massachusetts. IN HIS LIFE: He was a loving husband and father. Rodney was a giving person who will be missed by many. He leaves his mother-in-law Simone (Levesque) ORourke of Manchester. SERVICES: Relatives and friends may call at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union, on Monday from 5 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 11 oclock in St. Peters Church, Auburn, NH. Inurnment will follow at a later date in Mount Calvary Mausoleum, Manchester, NH.
