Rodney Fales Hudson

Rodney F. Hudson, 77 of Hinsdale, NH passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2014 with his family by his side. He was born in Hinsdale, NH on March 27, 1937, the son of the late Marshall and Elizabeth (Fales) Hudson.

Rodney was a lifelong Hinsdale resident. He was educated in the Hinsdale school system. Rodney was a Farmer for most of his life and later worked as a driver for Thomas Transportation. He enjoyed driving, especially to see his grandchildren, scenery, border collies, and was an avid Red Sox fan.
Rodney is survived by his wife, Joyce (Thompson) Hudson of Hinsdale; a son Lynn Hudson and his wife Angel of Chesterfield, NH; a daughter Kimberly Hudson of Hinsdale; a brother, Albert Hudson and his wife Judy of Hinsdale; three sisters, Arvilla Francis of Chesterfield, Janice Stevens and her husband Marle of Hinsdale and Cherolyn Nichols of Dummerston, VT; two grandchildren, Blake Marshall Hudson and Grace Elizabeth Hudson both of Chesterfield; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is predeceased by a brother, Nelson Hudson in 2014.

There are no calling hours. A Memorial Services will be celebrated on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 4 PM at Grace Community Evangelical Free Church, 49 Old Swanzey Rd, Spofford, NH. Pastor Lew Miller will officiate. Burial will be private. The KER-WESTERLUND Funeral Home, 57 High St., Brattleboro is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Rodney's name to a charity of choice.
