Rodney D. Mosher, 75, died Tuesday, June 9, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, in Lebanon, NH.
Mr. Mosher was born on April 26, 1934, in Cambridge, MA, the son of the late Rodney D. Mosher, Sr., and Verla (Downey) Mosher. Mr. Mosher grew up in Belmont, MA and attended Belmont High School. He was a resident of Manchester for the past 30 years.
In the 1950âs, he served in the United States Marine Corps in Korea and he also played for the New York Giants. Mr. Mosher was a self-employed antique dealer. He was a gourmet cook, avid golfer, and loved to travel.
Members of his family include; his wife of 27 years, Janet (Allard) Alosa Mosher, of Manchester; his 4 children, Lynn Mosher, of Bridgeport, CT; Jason Mosher, of Manchester; Judith Rajala, of East Windsor, CT; Matthew Alosa, of Concord, NH; his 8 beloved grandchildren; 1 sister, Ann Ramsey, of Massachusetts; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Mosher was predeceased by his son, Daniel Mosher, who died in 2007.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 1:00 PM at Brookside Congregational Church, 2013 Elm Street, in Manchester. Private burial will take place at a later date in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, in Boscawen, NH.
