RODNEY JOSEPH TARDIFF, SR.
LISBON,NH Rodney Joseph Tardiff, Sr., 70, of Lisbon, NH, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2003 at the Lafayette Center in Franconia.
Rodney was born in Littleton, NH on April 13, 1933, the son of Davila and Florence (Sharman) Tardiff.
He attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic School in Littleton. Rodney served as a Rifleman in the U. S. Army. After receiving an Honorable Discharge from the Army, he returned to Lisbon and was employed by the Plymwood Furniture Company, Connors Shoe Company, and most recently by the Grove Hill Cemetery. He married his wife, Bette Wells, on April 28, 1956. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Rodney is survived by his wife of 47 years, Bette (Wells) Tardiff of Lisbon; three sons, Lawrence David Tardiff and his wife, Tammy of Lisbon, Harold Keith Tardiff of Lisbon, and Rodney Joseph Tardiff, Jr. of Lisbon; one daughter, Deborah Jean Hill of Pike; two brothers, Albert Tardiff and Davila Tardiff both of Lisbon; one sister, Patricia Benoit and her husband, Lloyd of Greenfield, NH; four grandchildren, Danielle Tardiff of Dalton, Ryan Tardiff of Lisbon, and Jessica and Jennifer Hill of Pike, NH.
SERVICES -- A Graveside Committal Service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. in the Grove Hill Cemetery in Lisbon, NH with Rev. Fr. Daniel Sinibaldi as Celebrant.
