RODNEY ARTHUR TRAHAN

LITTLETON, NH – On Sunday, June 30, 2019, Rodney Arthur Trahan, loving son, husband, father, and Papa passed away suddenly at the age of 64.

Rod was born on November 27, 1954 in Littleton, NH to Arthur and Jeanette (Longchamp) Trahan.

He attended Catholic School in Littleton and Littleton High School and was very active in sports. On August 25, 1973 he married Donna Anderson. They raised two wonderful sons, Jesse and Colin. Together, Rod and Donna started Arrow Equipment, Inc. and later, with the help of Jesse and Colin expanded their business to include Arrow Express and most recently Arrow Central. With his construction background, they also have built many single-family homes in the area and have several rental properties.

Rod was very proud of his "3rd generation born and raised in Littleton" heritage and twice as proud that his sons and grandchildren would continue that heritage. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed teaching the sport to his boys and loved hunting with his Dad, brothers, sons and nephews. Rod was a very devoted son. He loved his mother very much and watched over her constantly. When they moved on the Connecticut River in 2006, he was excited about living on the water as waterskiing was his passion. And how he loved to waterski with his family and friends. The skiing friends he made during those years were priceless.

Rod was preceded in death by his father, Arthur and his brother Robert. He is survived by his mother, Jeanette, his wife Donna, his sons, Jesse and wife Danielle, Colin and his significant other Mandi Belyea, his grandchildren Greyson, Autumn, Reevely, Bode, Jay and Mathieu, his two "adopted" Canadian grandsons Joshua and Matthew, his brother Richard and wife Bonnie, sister Janice and husband John Brick, many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, his family of employees past and present and very special friends (you all know who you are…).
