ROGER THEOPHILE BOLDUC, SR.

NORTH HAVERHILL, NH -- Roger Theophile Bolduc, age 73, passed away on October 18, 2008 at the Grafton County Nursing Home.

Roger was born June 30, 1935 in Dalton, NH. He was brought up in the family of Bertha and Theophile Bolduc with Catherine, Henry, Elsie and Bertha Bolduc.

Roger attended Littleton Schools. He was a member of the New Hampshire Army National Guard for 9 years. He loved to play bingo, poker, horse shoes, and in recent years enjoyed zooming around on his electric scooter. He used his craftsman abilities to create many beautiful objects out of small pieces of wood. Roger was employed by Garrity Lumber and more recently at Wal-Mart as a Greeter.

Roger is survived by his children, Melody Dumais, Roger Bolduc, Jr., Connie Bolduc, Penny Driscoll, and Philip Bolduc; his mother, Catherine B. Dawson; his sisters, Elsie Burbank and Veronica Sheltra; his longtime companion, Marion Hopkins; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Bertha and Theophile Bolduc, Emma, Henry and Bertha, an infant son, and his former wife, Peggy Leach Bolduc.

The family is deeply grateful for the loving care of the personnel of Grafton County Nursing Home.

SERVICES -- Visiting hours will be Thursday, October 23rd from 2:00 pm till 4:00 pm and again from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm at Pillsbury Funeral Home located at 101 Union St., Littleton. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th at 11:00 a.m. at the Littleton United Methodist Church with the Rev. Sam Newton officiating. Interment will follow in the Cushman Cemetery in Dalton.
