Roger R. Bourque, 80, of Bedford, died January 25, 2006 at Elliot Hospital. He was born in Manchester on April 27, 1925, the son of Donat and Rose-Alma (Mailhot) Bourque and had been a resident of Bedford for most of his life. He was a World War II Marine Corps Veteran and served in the Pacific Theatre. He had been employed by United Shoe Company for over 40 years until his retirement. He was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Seton Church and was an avid gardener. Family members include his wife of 59 years, Theresa (Guay) Bourque; two daughters, Linda Lester of Northwood and Janet Howarth of Raymond; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two brothers, Donald Bourque of Franklin and Normand Bourque of Manchester; a sister, Doris Beaudoin of Bedford and several nephews, nieces and cousins. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 10:00 in St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Bedford.
