Roger Andre Boutin, 68, of Manchester, NH died Sunday January 16, 2011 at home following an illness.
He was born on January 19, 1942 in Sainte-Edwidge, Quebec, Canada the son of the late Ernest and Simonne (Viens) Boutin. He was raised in Canada. Roger emigrated to the US at the age of fourteen. He was a longtime resident of Manchester.
He was a staff sergeant in the US Army during the 1960âs.
Roger owned at operated Boutin Construction Inc., specializing in custom residential construction.
He enjoyed outdoor activities including fishing, water skiing, snowmobiling and skiing. When he was not hard at work he enjoyed his time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Monique (Andre) Boutin of Manchester; two sons, Richard Boutin of Portsmouth and Andre Boutin of Manchester; daughter, Michelle Boutin of Manchester; 4 grandchildren; two brothers, Bertrand Boutin of Florida and Alan Boutin of Allenstown, NH; two sisters, Madeleine Pelletier of Suncook, NH and Francine Rowe of Allenstown, NH and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
His Memorial Gathering will be held at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, Manchester, NH on Saturday from 2 to 5PM with a prayer service at 4:00PM.
